Fiji Paradise cove

Post by Bungy » Tue Aug 08, 2017 6:59 am

Have been in the Fiji islands for a week now and enjoying every bit of it. The people here are so friendly and loving happy all the time. Had some great adventures ,eaten some divine food and visited some villages. Sunday church was the best for me listening to the kids sing was angelic. Met some beautiful people and will sadly miss them when I leave today. I would gladly leave in my undies and give these island people everything I have because they deserve it. Kids on Soso island will be happy today as the balls, colouring in books ,pencils ,rubbers will be taken over by Mua this morning and deliverd straight to their school. I am sad to leave..........

Awesome!

The people are what make Fiji what it is, the islands are great but they're tropical islands just like any other tropical island.

We honeymooned in Fiji 20 years ago and the people were the stand out aspect of our stay. My parents did the same back in the day and had the same things to say about the people.

Thanks.
That helped take my mind briefly off the woeful Melbourne weather we are currently experiencing.
Have a trip booked there for my cousin's wedding later in the year. Will be our first O/S trip. Should be fun.
Looking at booking a charter at least once, and maybe having a play on some of the resort yaks.

Port Denarau is all resorts along the fore shore. They are all joined by paths through the resorts. Awesome food and drinks to be had with pool areas kids play areas. We stayed at the Westin there is a free bus doing a round trip leaving from your resort to all the resorts. Or the other bus $8 Fijian dollars for an all day pass which goes to the port and all over otherwise get a cab into Nandi. We went to Paradise Cove Resort about 3.5 hours from the port by boat. Beautiful place great food and lovely people. Nandi is good with lots of shops and a little hectic. Mostly populated by Indian/Fiji Indians that can get in your face at times. Hope this helps............
