Thought I'd post another mod. I needed to redo the nose protection on the 525 so went off to the local fibreglass supplier to get some flow coat and silica sand. After chatting with him for a bit and explaining my intentions he convinced me to swap the silica sand for zircon flour. It just gets mixed with flow coat upto 40% and this shit sets rockhard! He assures me it will never wear through (time will tell lol). anyway it was only cheap at $6.50/kg and after the leftover in the cup set I tried bashing it with a big screwdriver and couldn't mark it, so pretty impressed.
