FishnDive wrote:Nice work on the mods mate, she looks tidy! Just a heads up I found some of those click and seal tubs (especially the systema brand) are not actually waterproof and let in water. Water and those blue pack batteries are a dangerous combo. If you are doing surf work and going to get a bit of water in the fish hatch I'd look at a mini dry bag instead.

JamieD wrote:Mate can you give some specifics of what connections you used and from where for the wiring of the blue lithium Ion battery , I know they come with different plugs from china , so I'm curious how you went about that , the battery box specifically is of interest to me , nice job , looks crisp
I'm running blue bricks too Jamie and I picked up some matching connectors at Jaycar and they were only a couple of dollars from memory.
Cheers for the heads up fish n dive

Same here, Jaycar had all the connectors. Also agree with those containers not being waterproof, battery still works fine. for now....

Your container has different seals to my old one it had blue clips, here's a pic of the type to avoid for others reading this:

No issues with the twist and stow blowing open as has been reported a few times? I'd assume the plastic (hobie) boats would suffer more than glass. I could use a couple on mine for sure if I could trust them.
