We follow so many sports, but not often the one we love so much - kayaking. OK, this has nothing to do with fishing, and you won't drag a lure behind a K1.


This is the World kayak sprint championships on right now. You will want to skip to about the 34 min mark for the World junior women 200m race. Ella has scraped in to position 9, and is nowhere near the medals at the finish. In fact she is slightly outside her PB.

But she is 16 yo racing 18yo's. Many of us hoping an Olympian in the making.

thanks dru, she only looks a bit of a wisp of a girl next to some of the others, at least she turned up, unlike the polish chick. been looking at a bit of different paddling lately as I've got an epic v7 arriving anyday soon and seeking any tips I can find.

Picked the winner in 5 when they showed her.

Ella looks the goods and still has some growing to do so go you good thing for the future
